Tips regarding PRECIS writing.
Here is the test precis writing. precis must be brief in nature and mostly be the one third of the original passage.
while writing a precis you must keep in your mind some important point.they are as follows-
1) read the passage carefully.
2) try to get an idea from the passage.
3) understand the main theme of the passage.
4) make an idea in your mind of the passage.
5) write the precis in a rough book.
6)make necessary arrangement after doing the rough work to make it a fair copy.
7)now write down the desired precis in your fair copy and your precis writing is completed.
Keep always in mind that, precise writing is not any deduction of the original passage
It is the compact version of the original passage.
Write it in your own language and don't loose your confident.
Omit the repetition of any word which you came across while writing the precis.
